My weight journey
Hello everyone! Many people ask me what I did to lose weight or get into shape. Well here it goes... I was told by the doctor I needed to stay off certain foods because I would get horrible stomach pain and there were times where I couldn't even get out of bed. I decided I needed to do something about it I needed to change my eating and exercising lifestyle. I begin by going to the gym regularly, eating healthy for like 6 months. I honestly can not stay off fried, spicy, and sodas! They honestly taste so darn good! I use to pray to God all the time to help me lose weight. I didn't look bad but after I had my son I gained about 30 pounds. I felt chunky and not attractive and plus I wanted to get back into my high school shape! Anyways the answer to your question is "motivation" what did it. It's going to sound awful but I would push myself by looking at my "fat" pictures(what I considered to be fat). I started going to the gym three times per week, then after two weeks added another day, then after going three days added another day, and so on. I got my mind into believing the gym would help me and it did. I eat whatever I want and don't hurt. If I skip the gym on certain weeks I have too much going on I have to keep reminding myself I must go I must go! Honestly no matter how many times you swear up and down you will do something it doesn't matter unless you set your mind 110% into it. If you get down get your ass back up, tell yourself it will be worth it. The fight will be worth it. Now on muscles, not all women like muscles sometimes I look at myself and I'm like is it yucky or not lol ?? I admire, adore Michelle Lewin I just think she has such a model body and I want to look like her one day. The muscles are a plus not everyone needs to have it. I just find lifting weights an accomplish I feel strong like I can do this. No matter how heavy it starts to get I stop and try again. It's like when babies start to walk they fall and fall AND fall but they still get back up. Exactly with weight lifting just because I'm a girl it doesn't mean I can't do it! Ladies it's a women's world, men just in it lol we can do whatever they can. So don't get discouraged keep trying if in the month of January you didn't go to the gym as much as you planned you still have 11 months to get up and try again. Start small and work yourself up. Little by little. It's all in your mind. Just because you can't do something today it doesn't mean you will never do it. Don't give up if you want to lose weight and stop letting the bad things take over your life. If you crave a donut remind yourself why you are doing it or maybe have a little don't shove the whole thing in your mouth. Also don't think stoping cold turkey will do it. It won't, I tried it and id get terrible headaches from it. I repeat again start small and train yourself, your mind, your body to chose the right things in life because YOU want to not because omgosh I gotta wear size 4 in the summer or because I have to look good in a bathing suit. Feel good for yourself to want to make a change not for the world nor what anyone expects of you! ❤️xoxo Juanita
